JORDYN BURNS School: Benilde-St. Margaret's Year: junior Position: Forward The junior forward tied a state record with eight goals in one game in the Red Knights' 14-0 romp over St. Louis Park. She shares the record with Krissy Wendell, who did it twice while playing for Park Center in 1998. Burns' 10 points is the second-highest single-game total in state history. Making her 1 of the Star Tribune's Athletes of the Week. |
