HANNAH BRANDT School: Hill-Murray Year: Sophomore Position: Forward The playmaking forward had seven goals and two assists as the Pioneers finished second to Irondale in the ABRA Invitational at Edina. Began with three goals and two assists in a 5-1 victory over Maple Grove, then had two goals in a 3-0 win over Hopkins and two more in a 5-2 loss to Irondale. "Hannah has raised her level of play again this season," Pioneers coach Bill Schafhauser said. "She has instincts and creativity that you cannot teach." Hannah was chosen as one of the Pioneer Press Athletes of the Week. |
